Human Trafficking;
Import & Export
of People Worldwide

Sometimes, to understand the gravity of a problem, you have to look closer.

Information Design

This infographic was created to raise awareness of the global scale of human trafficking, and the millions of people moved across borders and forced into exploitation.

The design asks viewers to do exactly what the issue demands: get closer and look deeper.

From a distance, the information forms a single eye. Up close, it reveals a detailed global picture of human trafficking, showing each country’s level of involvement as a place of origin or destination, with supporting data surrounding the visualization.

Exhibited at The Chelsea Art Museum.
